You rarely deal with the owner or ship manager directly. The agent picks the supplier, and that choice is based on existing relationships, convenience, or kickback arrangements you'll never see. Your pricing, your delivery speed, your stock quality don't matter if the agent never sends the enquiry your way.

You might carry a wider range, deliver faster, or offer better credit terms. But there's no place to show that. Every enquiry is a one line email asking for a price on a specific item.
