Question 1

Who is PortzApp for?

Accepted Answer

Every role in a maritime deal. Vessel owners, ship managers, charterers, brokers, ship agents, service providers, suppliers, and freight forwarders each get a workspace tailored to their side of the deal.

Question 2

What kinds of deals can I run on PortzApp?

Accepted Answer

Any B2B maritime deal. Full port call workflows, agent-to-provider service sourcing, supply orders from suppliers to agents or ships, brokerage cost estimates, and freight coordination. If it involves two counterparties and a scope of work, it belongs here.

Question 3

What ports and markets do you cover?

Accepted Answer

Every port worldwide. PortzApp does not restrict coverage to specific regions or ports. The marketplace grows as counterparties join, so any port where a KYC verified counterparty is active is a port you can transact in on PortzApp.

Question 4

How are counterparties verified?

Accepted Answer

Every organization on PortzApp goes through KYC verification, including license and insurance checks. Ratings and performance history are visible on each profile. Pro plan users get a verified badge and priority placement in marketplace search.

Question 5

Can I integrate with my existing ERP or accounting system?

Accepted Answer

Yes. PortzApp integrates with your existing ERP and accounting software so financial data flows without double entry. You keep your ERP for what it is good at, and PortzApp handles the deal-specific workflow it was not built for.

Question 6

Do you offer mobile apps for iOS and Android?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Full mobile app access is included on the Pro plan so you can manage deals, chats, and approvals on the go.

Question 7

What happens if a deal is disputed?

Accepted Answer

Every action, message, and document on the platform is timestamped and logged. When something is contested, the audit trail is the single source of truth, and escrow-backed settlement ensures funds don't move until both sides agree the terms have been met.

Question 8

How do I get started?

Accepted Answer

Sign up, verify your organization, and run your first deal. The Standard plan is free and includes the full core workflow: job management, invoicing, escrow settlements, chat, and document management. No minimum volumes, no contract lock-in, no sales call required.
