How a claim works

A listing exists without an owner
The company appears in the directory but nobody from it controls the entry.

The person identifies themselves and their relationship to the company.

The request is assessed to confirm the person can act for the company named.

The representative can then maintain the listing on the company’s behalf.
Taking over an existing listing
In PortzApp a company can appear in the Directory before anyone from it has an account. Claiming is how that company takes over its entry, after which it can maintain the profile and put it forward for verification.
